November 30, 1967 MARIAN RAY BOREK SR. Marian Ray Borek, Sr., 64, died suddenly Wednesday morning, November 22, at his home at 4972 White Bridge Road, route one, Belding. Mr.Borek was born in Warsaw, Poland,September 24, 1903. He had become a citizen of the United States. He married Laurette Geiger in Decatur, Indiana, October 21, 1933. Mr.Borek was a welder for Gibson Refrigerator Company. He was a member of St.Joseph's Church and the Friendship Club. Surviving beside his wife are one son, Marion Ray Borek Jr. and three sisters; Mrs John (Nettie) McKinnon of Hopkins, Mrs Bernard (Sophie) Brummelhoff of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Stanley (Helen) Sankus of Allegan. Rosary was recited Friday evening at Huffman Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at St.Josephs Church with Father Charles E.Steves officiating.Interment was in St.Marys Cemetery in Miriam.
