Ionia County News, 5 May 1932

Mattie Arnold Bornor was born in Saranac, 45 years ago, and graduated with the
class of 1905 from the Saranac high school.  She taught in Ionia for some time,
and in several other schools.  She passed away after a year’s illness, at home
near Albion, leaving her husband, Ray Bornor, and one daughter, Marion.  A step
mother, Mrs. Nellie Newland, of Olivet, two half sisters, Mrs. Wm. Williams and
Luella Arnold, of Detroit also survive her.
