BOROFF Charles O.Boroff of 210 Hanline street South Ionia, died late Friday morning at Ionia County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Ohio and was 78 years old at the time of death. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs.Marion Oakley of Ionia. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Boynton Funeral Home. Ionia Sentinel-Std.-Sat. September 4, 1965 CHARLES O. BOROFF Funeral service for Charles O.Boroff, 78, of 210 Hanline street, South Ionia, who died late Friday morning at Ionia County Memorial Hospital, will be at 11 am Monday at Boynton Funeral Home. the Rev. John W.Tennyson of First Baptist Church will officiate and interment will be at 2 p.m. at Mt.Hope Cemetery at Mecosta. Mr. Boroff was born in Paulding county, Ohio, June 1, 1887, son of Lewis and Jane Boroff, and had resided in Ionia the past 38 years. He was employed at Oldsmobile division of General Motors inLansing until his retirement in 1944. September 12, 1912, he was married to Pearl Cole who died in 1935. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs.Marion Oakley and Mrs Lorraine Slocum of Ionia and Mrs.Emily Bair of Flint; 11 grand; 14 great-grandchildren; four brothers, William, Robert and Harvey Boroff of Mecosta and Frank of Pontiac; one sister, Mrs.Jose Lamb of Big Rapids.
