Ionia Sentinel Standard, 4 May 1982

Stanley A. Borton, 86, of Rt. 1, Bluewater Highway, Pewamo, died Monday at Ionia
Manor.  He was born Feb. 24, 1896 in Vestaburg, and married Mabel Hahn, who died
in 1953.  He lived in the Lyons and Pewamo area since 1929, working as a farmer.

Survivors include three sons, Louie of Pewamo and Donald and David of Ionia; two
daughters, Arlene Borton and Opal Welch of Ionia; one sister, Hazel Miller of
Lyons; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  One son preceded him in
death.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Hull Memorial Chapel. 
Burial will be in the Muir Cemetery.
