The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Friday, October 30, 1942
Samuel J. Bosch, 66, died Thursday noon after an illness of many months.  He 
was born in Grand Rapids in 1876 and on November 16, 1901 was married to Lulu 
McConnell of Saranac and the couple had made their home in Boston township.  
Mrs. Bosch preceded him in death December 12, 1920.

He is survived by two brothers, Gilbert Bosch of Burlingame, Calif. and Harry 
Bosch of Grand Rapids; three sisters, Mrs. ….(illegible)…, Mrs. Margaret Baker 
and Mrs. Bertha Johnson, all of Grand Rapids.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Stone 
funeral home and burial will be in Saranac cemetery.
