Belding Banner-News, 15 Mar 1962

Mrs. Blanch Boss, aged 76, passed away Monday morning at Belding Community
Hospital.  She was born in Otisco Township and was a lifelong resident of this
community.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church and the Rosary Society.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Helen Hawley and one son, Hugh Boss and
one sister, Mrs. Ida Sturgeon, all of this city; one brother, Warren Rich,
Balboa Island, California; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and
several nieces.

The Rosary was recited Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Fitzjohn-Courser Funeral Home. 
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic church
with Rev. Fr. Thomas A. Schiller of Ionia officiating, and the burial was in
Otisco cemetery.  Pall bearers were: Walter Anderson, Norman Wilcox, Alfred
Chickering, Donald Olmstead, John McIntyre and Jack Cranmer.
