Mrs. Glenn Boughner, aged 42 years, died at St. Lawrence hospital, Lansing, late Saturday night, where she had been treated for a hopeless illness for a number of days. Funeral services were held at the farm home in Danby Tuesday afternoon in charge of Rev. Fred Williams, burial was made in Danby cemetery. Mrs. Boughner was formerly Miss Ethel Kelly, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kelly. She was born in Westphalia township on August 15, 1887. Twenty-three years ago she was married to Mr. Boughner and since that time had resided in Danby township. A number of years ago Mrs. Boughner was stricken with infantile paralysis which nearly caused her to lose the use of one of her legs. A short time ago gangrene appeared in that member and she was taken to the hospital for treatment but in spite of every effort of physicians the poison continued to spread until a number of days before her death her case was considered hopeless. Besides the husband she is survived by three daughters, Bertha, Helen and Jean; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kelly, and two brothers, Harry and Lee Kelly.
