Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, April 13, 1954

Mrs. Anna Boughton, 78, of North Jefferson street, died Tuesday morning at 3 
o'clock at the Eckert Nursing Home where she had been a patient for the past 
two months. 

She was born in Germany December 31, 1875 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred 
Hoth and has been a resident of Ionia for the past 70 years. Her husband 
Mortimer, preceded her in death in December 1935.

She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran church and a member of the Ladies 
Aid.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Minnie Malewitz and one niece, Mrs. Virginia 
McAndrews, both of Jackson. 

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Boynton Funeral 
home with the Rev. Eric Cash officiating.

Interment will be in the family lot in Highland Park cemetery.
