March 31, 1916 BROUGHT HERE FOR BURIAL Following a week of severe illness, Guy A Bovee, aged 40 years, an old Lake Odessa resident, who later moved to Woodland and then to Freeport, died at his home in Freeport Monday, March 27, at noon. Mr Bovee had been in poor health for a long time and was forced to give up his work at the creamery last August, since which time he has gradually failed. The family moved here about three years ago from Woodland. Mr Bovee was a loyal member of the K of P lodge, which order conducted the funeral services. He is survived by a devoted wife and three children; his father and mother, who live near Lowell, and one brother Windsor Bovee, of Henderson. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday at 1:30 o'clock and at the Freeport M.E. Church at 2 o'clock p.m., Rev. Robinson officiating. The remains were brought here Thursday morning fr burial in Lakeside cemetery.
