Lowell Ledger, 3 Jul 2002

Glendon  C.  Bovee, aged 84 of Lowell, passed away on June 29, 2002.  He was
born to Lyle and Mabel (Kyser) Bovee on July 8, 1917.  

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janet (Haselschwerdt), originally of
Chelsea; his children Lew and Sally Bovee of West Chicago, IL, and Arla Bovee
and Steve Harvey of Saranac.  They have four grandchildren Tasha, Lona, Chris
and John; three great-grandchildren.  Glendon also is survived by his brother
Vercel and Marilyn Bovee of Lowell.  Glendon was a member of the Lowell Moose. 
He was retired from Amway Corporation.  

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Roth-Gerst Chapel, with Rev. Gordie Barry
officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Visiting Nurse
Service/Hospice or the First United Methodist Church of Lowell.
