He was the second son of John and Ida Bovee. When about 16 years old his parents moved to Lake Odessa where he spent several years. On April 4, 1906 he was married to Eunice L. Fletcher and in August of last year he commenced business in Clarksville, and has since resided there. Two weeks ago he was taken with rheumatism which caused his death Saturday evening, March 19, 1940. He is survived by his wife, his father and mother of Lowell township, and two brothers, Guy A. Bovee of Woodland and Windsor Bovee of Henderson and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 o’clock at the Congregational church in Clarksville, conducted by Rev. Carrick. Burial in South Boston cemetery according to the ritual of the Woodmen fraternity, with about forty of the Lowell Lodge in attendance.
