Lynne Carol Bowbeer, 68, of Ionia, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2015,
surrounded by her family.  Lynne was born on June 28, 1947, the daughter of
Harold and Dorothy (King) Bowbeer.

Lynne worked for many years at Ionia Memorial Hospital and the State of Michigan
as a Registered Nurse.  She enjoyed working in her yard creating beautiful
gardens, championing animal rights, and spending time with her parents.  Lynne
was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Dorothy Bowbeer; her brother
Ronald Bowbeer.

Surviving are her children, Melisa (Fezzey) Gillett of Ionia, Michael (Shelly)
Fezzey of Muir and Joseph Fezzey of Ionia; grandchildren, Joshua Gillett of
Rockford, Ill., Elizabeth (Nathaniel) Bialik of Grandville, MI, Jalaina Judkins
of Danville, KY, Shawn Gustafson of Cleveland, Ohio, Zachary Fezzey of Oklahoma,
Isaac Fezzey of Ionia, Hannah Fezzey of Ionia, Alexandra Fezzey of Ionia, Kevin
Berry of Ionia, Bryce Rozelle of Marquette, MI, Nicholas O’Connell of Zebulon,
N.C., Victoria Fezzey of Lowell, and Katey Jeffers of Portland;
great-grandchildren, Audrey Bialik, Benjamin Bialik, Eleanor Bialik and Isaac
Judkins.  She is also survived by her faithful companion, Yorkshire Terrier Chucky.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, at St.
John’s Lutheran Church at 617 N. Jefferson, Ionia.  A luncheon will follow the
service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Safe Haven Humane Society in
Ionia.
