Lake Odessa Wave - December 16, 1976
          BOWDEN INFANT DIES AT BIRTH
   Matthew Bowden, infant son of Brent and Joyce (Tasker) Bowden of Spartan Village,
E. Lansing passed 
away at birth Sunday afternoon at the Ionia County Memorial Hospital.
   Surviving besides the parents are the maternal grandmother, Mrs. Wilma Tasker of
Lake Odessa; paternal 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallac Bowden of Morrison Lake ; maternal great
grandmother, Mrs. Laura Tasker 
of Lake Odessa; maternal great grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Frank King, rural
Portland; paternal great 
grandmothers, Mrs. Robert Bowden of Lansing and Mrs. Frances Sellhorn of E.
Lansing.
   Graveside services and burial were held Tuesday forenoon at the Lakeside
Cemetery.  Rev. Elwood Norton 
officiated.
