The Ionia Standard, Friday, September 20, 1907

Anson Eugene Bowen died at the home in Easton, at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon.  He 
had been ill a long time, and quite sick for ten days.  His age was 54, and he 
leaves a son and daughter, by first wife, grown to maturity.  The wife whom he 
leaves a widow was well known in this city as Miss Minnie Taylor.  Funeral on 
Friday at 2 p.m. from Easton church; services by Rev. W. K. Spender, D.D.
