Ionia Shoppers Guide - Jan. 9, 2010


Gladys Bowen, age 86, of Saranac, passed away December 25, 2009 in Arizona. She 
is survived by  her son, Gary and Kathleen Bowen of Ionia; daughters: Sandra 
and Jack Ward of Saranac and Patricia and Patrick O’Connor of Belding; 11 
Grandchildren; brother, Floyd (Marlene) Smith of Saranac; sister, Elsie (Burt) 
Capron of Lowell; brother-in-law, Donald Bowen of Plainwell, and sister-in-
laws, Elsie Moore of Saranac and Doris (Robert) Harding of Climax. The family 
is planning a memorial service in June at their home on David Hwy., Saranac. 
Arrangements are being cared for by Lake Funeral Home in Saranac.
