Ionia Daily Standard, 5 Sep 1905

Rev. J.R. Bowen, aged 71, is dead at Lyons.  He was a retired Methodist 
minister and had held pastorates at Sears, Elmhall, Sheridan, Coral, Freeport, 
Fowler and Coleman.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was 
buried in Lyons Cemetery.]
