The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, September 16, 1943


A prayer service for Baby Bowen born at 4 o’clock Thursday morning at the Ionia 
County Memorial hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Emery Bowen, Rt. 3, Ionia, will be 
held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Myers funeral home.  Rev. A. R. Kuehn 
will officiate and burial will be in Easton cemetery.

The infant is survived by the parents, a sister Louise, a brother John, her 
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Bowen of Keene, O. C. Austin of Clarksville, her 
great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Parker of Ionia.
