She was born in Berlin, August 27, 1868, the daughter of Edward and Naomi Halsted. She is survived by three sons, Roy of Fowler, Earl of Alma, and Stanley of Mason; one daughter, Mrs. Goldie Loudenslager of Sumner; fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren, Mrs. Nona Williams of Ionia is a niece. Funeral services will be held from the Myers funeral home in Ionia Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Tuttle cemetery. _______________________________ (Saturday, April 18, 1942) Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Myers funeral home for Mrs. Jeanette Bowen who died at her home in Fowler Tuesday. Rev. F. G. Dunbar officiated at the services and pallbearers were Charles Bulliard, Peter Urik, Tom Walsh and Lyle Allen. The ladies auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars attended in a body. A flag service at the grave was conducted by Rosemary Newcomb, Anna May Allen, Ethel Farrell and Maxine DeHart. Burial was in Tuttle cemetery.
