The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, September 1, 1970
A former Saranac man, Earl G. Bower, 71, died Sunday at Beyer hospital in 
Ypsilanti.

Surviving are his wife, Alma Pretzel Bower, formerly of Ionia; two sons, Earl 
R. and Harold L., both of Belleville; three granddaughters.

Open graveside services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Saranac cemetery.
