Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. October 27, 1966

Services Held for Patricia E. Bower
Patricia E. Bower, 38, passed away Thursday afternoon at  Butterworth Hospital 
where she had been a patient for two days. She had been hospitalized 
intermittently during the last year.

She was born in Ionia and her parents were Lynn and Marvel Allen and attended 
the Ionia schools. She married LaVon Bower, December 14, 1946 and had lived here 
all her married life.

Mrs. Bower was a member of the E.U.B. church.

Surviving are her husband; two sons Merton E (Butch) of the U.S. Army, Fort 
Knox, Ky., and Robert (at home), her mother Mrs.Marvel Miller and two sisters 
Rose and Bonnie Allen of Ionia.

Funeral services were held on Saturday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel 
with burial in Lakeside Cemetery. Rev. R.D. Flessner officiated.
