Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 26 Mar 1963

Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at Posthumus
funeral home in Grandville for Ralph A. Bowerman, 78, a former Ionia resident,
who died Sunday afternoon. 

Mr. Bowerman resided at 1880 Barrett street in Grandville.  He was born in
Ionia, January 16, 1885, the son of David and Sarah Randall Bowerman.  He was a
retired Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad employee and had lived at Grandville the past
35 years.  Prior to that he lived in Ionia.

Surviving are his wife, Myrtle; a sister, Mrs. Lois O. Allen of Chesaning; four
nieces and two nephews.  

Graveside service will be held at Highland Park cemetery in Ionia at 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday.  The Rev. Paul Robinson will officiate.
