She was the wife of Almon Bowerman, former assistant sergeant-at-arms in the Michigan house of representatives and the present court officer of Ionia circuit court. Mrs. Bowerman was born in Ionia township and has always lived in this vicinity. Twenty-five years ago she united with the Ionia Church of Christ and as long as she was in normal health was faithful in her attendance. Funeral services will be conducted at this church by Dr. Paul L. Stewart Tuesday afternoon at 2:30. Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery. The body reposes at Boynton’s funeral chapel, where it may be seen at any time. Mrs. Bowerman is survived by her husband, to whom she was united in marriage 47 years ago; a son, Ralph, of Grandville; a daughter, Mrs. Fred J. Allen, of Chesaning; a sister, Mrs. Job Kingston, of Ionia township; brothers, Solomon, Theodore, Charles, and Albert Randall, all of this vicinity.
