The Ionia County News, Thursday, February 15, 1923

Cassius Bowerman, a lifelong resident of this city, died at the home of his 
daughter here Wednesday.  For many years Mr. Bowerman was sexton of Oak Hill 
cemetery.  Funeral services will be held from the Church of Christ at 2 
o’clock Friday afternoon, Rev. Garrard officiating.  Burial will be made in 
the family lot at Highland cemetery.
