Carolyn A. Bowerman, age 95, of Frankfort, died Friday, July 15, 2005, at Paul 
Oliver Memorial Hospital Long Term Care.

She was born Aug. 4, 1909, in Dwight, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and 
Caroline Peterson.  Carolyn married Hugh D. Bowerman Feb. 10, 1937 and he 
preceded her in death on Sept. 19, 1985.  She adored her family with all her 
heart.

Surviving Carolyn are son Philip (Rosella) of Arcadia; daughter Martha J. Kucks 
of Spring Lake; grandchildren Scott, Steve, Kurt and Wendy Bowerman, Michael, 
Brian and Gretchen Kucks; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Esther Hall 
and Louise (Leo) Lake; three sisters-in-law Viola, Myrle and Beatrice Peterson; 
and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Susie Curtis, Lil Burrows and 
Hazel Phelps; brothers Andy, Ray, Ed, and Johnny Peterson; brothers-in-law Ede 
Curtis, Rayme Burrows, Frank Phelps, Fred Hall and Lee Gabe; and sister-in-law 
Ruth Peterson.

Memorial services are Saturday, July 30, 2005, at 5 p.m. at Zion United 
Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Graham officiating.  Inurnment will be in 
Highland Park Cemetery.

The Frankfort Chapel of McElduff-Jowett Funeral Homes & Cremation Service is 
handling arrangements.
