Ionia Daily Sentinel - Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1913

Word has been received from Hennessey, Okla., of the death of Henry K. 
Bowerman, brother of Almon and Cassius Bowerman, who will be remembered by the 
older citizens of Orleans township where he resided until his removal to the 
west. He was a soldier in the civil war. He was until the close of the war. He 
was an ordained minister of the Methodist church for 20 years. He ha been in 
bad health and had to give up the ministry. He died Thursday, Dec. 18 and was 
buried from the M.E. church Saturday afternoon Dec. 20, at 2 p.m. at Hennessey, 
Oklahoma. He is survived by his mother, wife and ten children.
