Lucille J. Bowerman, 61, of Lake Odessa passed away at her home on Thursday 
afternoon, April 17, 2003.  Lucy was born in Antrim County on April 23, 1941 
to Archie and Lucy (LeVanwey) Misner.  She had lived in the Lake Odessa area 
since 1948 and attended Woodland schools.

Lucy married Ralph Bowerman on May 3, 1958.  She was a wonderful cook and her 
family will miss Lucy’s blue-ribbon baked goods.  Lucy was very involved in 
ceramics and had taught a number of classes.  Above all, Lucy’s family is 
grateful for the unending love she gave and the values she instilled in each 
of them.

She is survived by Ralph, her loving husband of 45 years; her children, Ralph 
(Tammy) Bowerman Jr., Roger (Lorri) Bowerman, and Steve (Jeannie) Bowerman; 
son-in-law, Cam Yager; nine children; one great-grandchild; four brothers; one 
sister; her special cousins, Richard and Dot Misner; and many other loving 
relatives and friends.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Visitation will be at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa on Saturday from 
5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  The funeral service will be 
held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.  Interment 
will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
