      KATHERINE HELLEN BOWERMAN

Died August 3,2025-age 82 of Ionia.
Born May 7, 1943, daughter of Joseph & Rose (Vig) Balawender in Fruitport, MI.
She married her husband,Gary Bowerman in October of 1995.
Katherine loved gardening flowers, crocheting & embroidering.  Also watching 
NASCAR & loved her cats.
Survived by her children,Theresa (Terry) Newton of Battle Creek, Kelly Michelsen 
of Ionia, Mark (Faye) Patrick of Ionia & Tim (Andi) Patrick of Ionia; step-
children,Michelle Stemler-Bowerman of Ionia, Tom Bowerman of Ionia & Suzanne 
(Ken) Kessler of Ionia; sister, Christine (James) Szydlowski; many grandchildren 
& Great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents, & her husband, .
Memorial service will be held at 11 AM, August 16 at Restore Church in Ionia.
Pastor John Prominski officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Restore Church or Ionia Area Hospice.
