Ionia County News - Thursday, April 17, 1949

SARANAC- Mrs. Claude Bowers (Mae Noyes) was born in Boston township January 
23, 1879, and passed away in Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids, April 10 at 
10::30 a.m. after a lingering illness. She is survived by her husband, Claude, 
and a brother John of Clarksville. Her funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from 
the Morris Mortuary with burial in the Saranac cemetery. Rev. Glenn McCarty 
was the officiating minister.
