The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, May 14, 1928
Frank A. Bowers, aged 46 years, died at his home at 228 Brown street shortly 
after midnight Sunday evening following an illness of heart disease.  He as 
born in Orange township and had for years been employed at the Ionia Pottery.  

Many close relatives survive him and include his widow and two children, Marie 
and Rodney; an aged father, Benjamin Bowers of Hersey; three brothers, James 
and Byron, of Hersey, and William, of Ionia, and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Bice 
and Mrs. Lena Quick, of Ionia.  

The funeral services will be held from the home Wednesday at 2:30 and 
interment will be in Tuttle cemetery.
