He was one of the most highly respected men among the older set of the city and was seen daily in the business section of the city, chatting with his many friends. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon from the Presbyterian church with Rev. W.K. Spencer and Rev. Joseph H. Green in charge. Interment was made at Highland Park cemetery. Mr. Bowersox conducted an ice cream parlor with Alfred Nichol a number of years ago in the store building now occupied by the Chafee Brothers Furniture company. He is survived by one son, John Bowersox, a watchmaker here, and one brother at Dover, Pa.
