Bowler, 91, of Belding, passed away Wednesday evening, April 17, 2002, at United Memorial Health Center Long Term Care Unit in Greenville. She was born Feb. 18, 1911 in Belding, the daughter of Ernest and Anna Byrnes Burt. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding, and the Ave Maria Guild. She graduated from Belding High School with the class of 1930 and attended Davenport College. Beatrice married Eustace C. Bowler on Oct. 20, 1936, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding. He preceded her in death in 1983. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Tom O’Connor of Belding and their children, Thomas and Jodi O’Connor, James and Wendi O’Connor, David and Traci O’Connor, Michael and Heidi O’Connor, Debbie and Rob Gasper, Cathy and Tim Flynn, Lori and Travis Carter; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Don Hamblin of Belding and their children, Drs. Jodi and Robert Camp, Don and Rhonda Hamblin, Greg Hamblin; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sharon Bowler of Holt and their children, Matthew Bowler, Michael Bowler, Mandy and Goran Jurkovic; son and daughter-in-law, the Hon. Patrick and Nannette Bowler of Grand Rapids and their children, Kerry Bowler, Sarah and Kenny Miller, Jonathan Bowler, Jared Bowler and Justin Bowler; 17 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild with two more great great grandchildren expected. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sons, David in 1937 and Donald in 1994; five brothers, Erwin, Edwin, Elden, Leo and Donald Burt; and a sister, Iolene West. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Belding, with Father Troy A. Nevins officiating. Interment is in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with a Rosary at 8 p.m. one hour prior to services at the church Saturday.
