                Frank Boyd, Long Time Resident Buried Sunday

Frank Boyd, 84, a resident of 819 S.Pleasant street, passed away Thursday 
evening at this home after an illness of two years. He was the son of Richard 
and Elizabeth Boyd and was born August 21, 1868 in Orleans Township near Shiloh.

He was married September 28, 1897 to Edna Choate and she survives.Other 
survivors are one son, Forrest and one granddaughter, Mrs.Marilyn Tift, both of 
this city, and one sister, Mrs.Alta Haysmer of Ionia. He followed the occupation 
of  a teamster and was employed by the city for 20 years.He had lived in and 
around this city all his life.

Funeral service was held Sunday at 2:300 at Fales-Huffman Funeral Home with Rev. 
H.E. Curch officiating and the burial was in River Ridge Cemetery.

Pall bearers were Walter Decker, Claude Decker, Donald McPherson, Robert 
McPherson, Harold Robinson and Ray Emery.
