Twelve years ago his wife died, and since then he has closed his house and lived alternately with his two daughters, Mrs. Jennie Decker and Mrs. Alta Haysmer. He has been for many years a patient sufferer from rheumatism which kept him closely confined to the house. Mr. Boyd as one of our old pioneer residents, who leaves many friends, will be sadly missed. We extend our sincerest sympathy to his bereaved children.
