She was taken there three weeks ago after an attack she suffered while attending church services. Following the seizure in the Free Methodist church at Saranac, of which she was a member, Mrs. Boyd was removed to the home of Mrs. Laura Sherman where she was cared for for three weeks. Her failure to improve in condition led her doctors to advise the trip to Ann Arbor in hope that specialists there might be able to aid her. She sank rapidly, however, and was unconscious a large part of the time prior to her death. She was born 39 years ago near LeRoy, Mich., and came to Saranac to make her home about six years ago. She is survived by her husband, William Boyd, two daughters, Eva Belle 15, and Cora May 12, and a son, Albert 10. She also leaves five brothers, Thomas, Alma; Hiram, Lansing; Arthur, Grand Haven; Frank Mancelona; and Baldwin, Middleville; and her mother, Mrs. Robert Mavety, Mancelona. She was a member of the Free Methodist church where services were conducted, her pastor, Rev. C. O. Hayward, officiating. Burial was in Saranac cemetery.
