Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 18 Jul 1939

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at her home in Saranac for
Mrs. Kate Dausman Boyer, 87, who died Tuesday noon at her home.  Rev. John
Gehring will officiate at the service and burial will be in Grand Rapids.

Mrs. Boyer was born in Indiana, August 30?, 1852.  She resided in Saranac for ??
years, coming from Grand Rapids where she and her husband, Peter Boyer, owned
and operated a shoe store.  They were residents of Grand Rapids for many years.

Survivors are one son, Charles, a granddaughter, Ethel Boyer, of Minneapolis,
Minn., and a brother, Samuel Dausman of Berlin.

Mrs. Charles Boyer and daughter are expected to arrive Wednesday at Saranac. 
Charles Boyer is unable to come because of illness.
