Leo E. Boyer, 72, died suddenly Wednesday morning at his Lake Odessa home.  
Coroner Richard Hull ruled death due to a heart attack.  Born in Sunfield 
March 1, 1899, he was the son of Andrew and Ila Koos Boyer.  May 4, 1929 he 
was married to Florence C. Mills of Harrison and came to Lake Odessa from 
Sunfield in 1937.  He was a retired employee of Reo Motor company of Lansing 
having worked there 36 years.  

Surviving are his wife, Florence, three daughters, Ruth (illegible), Mrs. Ila 
Reurink of Wayland, Mrs. Mary Miller of Lowell; one son, Leo J. at home; ten 
grandchildren; one brother, Earl of Battle Creek.  

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Pickens funeral chapel in 
lake Odessa.  Pastor Howard Vugteveen of Lake Odessa Christian Reformed church 
will officiate and interment will be at Sunfield cemetery.
