The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, August 27, 1941
Funeral services for Mrs. Cecil Boyer, 45, of St. Johns, who died Tuesday at 
Howell sanatorium will be held from the Ebert funeral home in St. Johns Friday 
afternoon at 1 o’clock and from the North Plains church at 2 o’clock.  
Interment will be at the North Plains cemetery.

Mrs. Boyer had been ill for several years.  She was born in Ionia county and 
lived the greater part of her life in Ionia county and city.  Her parents are 
Mrs. and Mrs. Erwin Martin of St. Johns.  They formerly lived in Ronald 
township.

Surviving are the husband, one daughter, Mrs. Victor Croel of Edmore, four 
grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Alfred Horrocks of Onaway, and a brother, 
Ralph Martin of Grand Rapids.
