Word has been received of the death of Fred Boyer, former Belding man, who has
been a resident of the Clark Memorial home in Grand Rapids for two years.

Mr. Boyer, who for years was a shoe repair man in Belding, was born September
28, 1860.  He was married to Della Patterson in Bloomer January 5, 1884.  She
preceded him in death August 13, 1943, at their former home in Belding.  He made
his home with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Williams for two years following his wife’s
death before entering Clark home.  He is survived by one son, Floyd H. Boyer, of
Denver, Colo.

Funeral services will be held from the Greenhoe funeral home Saturday morning at
10:30 o’clock, with the Rev. J. Ray Gillham of the Belding Methodist church of
which Mr. Boyer was a member officiating.  Interment will be in Bloomer cemetery
in the family lot.
