The Lake Odessa Wave, Thursday, March 30, 1939
Mrs. Jane E. Boynton, 84, of Ionia, died Monday at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. Bert White, with whom she lived.  She has been ailing the past year.  
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Ionia, with burial in Lakeside 
cemetery, Lake Odessa.

She was the widow of George Boynton who died 15 years ago.  Before going to 
Ionia three years ago she had lived on farms in the vicinity of Woodland and 
Lake Odessa for 70 years.  

Besides Mrs. White she leaves another daughter, Mrs. Everett Wilson of Grand 
Rapids; two sons, Charles and Dee of Sebewa; two brothers, Henry and George 
Brownfield of Lake Odessa; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
