Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 8 Apr 1991

Russel L. Bozung, 60, of 3823 South Stage, Ionia, died Saturday at Ionia County 
Memorial Hospital.  Born April 26, 1930, in Ionia, he was the son of Lewis and 
Alta Thorpe Bozung.  He attended Ionia schools and retired from Grand Trunk as 
a section hand in 1977.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Bozung of Ionia and Patrick Bozung of Palo; a 
daughter, Theresa Edwards of Muir; six grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley 
Bussell of Ionia and Charlotte Rossell of Cadillac.  His parents and a grandson 
preceded him in death.

Cremation has taken place.  Graveside services will be held at Balcom Cemetery 
at 4 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Kirk Starkweather officiating.  A memorial 
for Ionia Area Hospice has been established, in care of Hull Memorial Chapel, 
which made arrangements.
