Carson City- Eugene B. Bozung, 77, of Hubbardston passed away Wednesday, Oct. 
9, 2013.

He was born on Feb. 25, 1936, in Ionia County, the son of Henry and Magdalena 
(Domelle) Bozung.

Eugene served his country in the United States Army in Korea from April 26, 
1958, until his honorable discharge on June 28, 1962. He worked as the 
groundskeeper for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church for more than 30 years, 
retiring in 2001. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

Eugene is survived by a brother, Fr. Jim Bozung of Grand Rapids; two sisters, 
Joan Bozung of St. Johns and Jeanette (Harry) Sanborn of Hubbardston and 
numerous nieces and nephews.

a funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. John the Baptist Catholic 
Church with FR. James Bozung officiating. Interment will be in St. John the 
Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. rosary service today 
at Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City.
