Ionia Sentinel Standard, 19 Jul 1986

Henry Bozung, 92, of Hubbardston, died Thursday at Saginaw Veteran’s Facility. 
He was born Sept. 7, 1893, in Ionia County, the son of Peter and Katherina Roll
Bozung.  He was a retired carpenter and a member of the American Legion Post 182
of Hubbardston.

Surviving are three daughters: Bernice Caudy of St. Johns, Joan Bozung of St.
Johns and Janet Sandborn of Hubbardston; four sons: Alvin and Eugene, both of
Hubbardston, Raymond of St. Johns, and the Rev. James Bozung of Lake Odessa; 24
grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife
Magdalene and two daughters, Mildred and Margaret.

Funeral Mass will be Monday, 10 a.m., from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church
in Hubbardston.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Rosary services will be
Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m.  The family will be at Schnepp Funeral Home in
Carson City Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
