Mrs. Ellen Bracken, the wife of the late Thomas Bracken who was owner and 
operator of the Hotel Belding until he retired in 1920, died in Phoenix, Ariz. 
Thursday.

Mr. and Mrs. Bracken moved to Phoenix soon after his retirement.  They had 
operated the hotel since 1888.

Funeral services are to be held Tuesday at the St. Joseph’s Catholic church at 
Belding.  Burial will be St. Joseph’s cemetery.  

A daughter, Ann, of Phoenix survives.
