Lake Odessa Wave Times, 27 Jan 1911

Dale, the 19 years old son of S. R. Braden, whose life has been slowly ebbing 
away for the past six months, and for the past few weeks has been a great 
sufferer, died last week Thursday morning at the home of his parents on south 
Main Street.

Dale has always been an invalid and has always received special care and 
attention from his parents, whose sympathy and watchfulness was not 
deteriorated by a large family of other children to care for.

The funeral was held Saturday morning at the home.  Rev. Thomas Laity preached 
and Miss Minnie Reynolds and Mrs. A. J. Dann sang.  Interment was made in 
Lakeside cemetery.  The pallbearers were his brothers Clarence, Roy, Verne and 
his brother-in-law, Dr. F. R. Granger.
