Lake Odessa Wave - March 18, 1971
      SERVICES HELD FOR NINA H. BRADEN
   Mrs. Nina H. Braden 83, former local resident, passed away last Thursday at Fort
Lauderdale, Fla.  She was born Sept. 5, 1887, at Lake Odessa, the daughter of Lemuel and 
Albert (Badger) Heaton, and she and her husband Clarence resided at Grand Rapids, where 
she was employed at Houseman-Jones for 27 years.  She moved to Florida 18 years ago.  Her 
husband passed away in August of 1966.
   Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lyle (Virginia) Caston of Grand Rapids; a son, May
of Fort Lauderdale, Fla; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
   Mrs. Braden reposed at the Metcalf Mortuary in Grand Rapids until Monday morning
and then brought to the Pickens Funeral Chapel where services were held at 1:30, with 
burial in Lakeside Cemetery.  Rev. Luther Brokaw officiated.
