Lake Odessa Wave - Times - November 14, 1924
       J. W. BRADEN DEAD FUNDERAL HERE SATURDAY
   Joseph W. Braden, who was long a resident of Lake Odessa but who has resided in
Lansing with his 
daughter since the death of his wife was taken Monday night with a stroke of
paralysis and died Wednesday 
morning.
   Mr. Braden was a visitor of his brother C. F. Branden here week ago Saturday and
appeared in his usual 
health.
   Mr. Braden was nearly eight-one years of age but never appeared that old.  He was
the oldest of the Braden 
family.
   The funeral will be held Saturday at 12:30 at the Methodist church here where he
was a loyal member for 
many years and until he transferred his membership to the Lansing church.
   Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
