Dick Braden Passed Away
Roy S. "Dick" Braden, 80, passed away Monday night at Blodgett Memorial 
Hospital, Grand Rapids, where he was hospitalized four days.

His parents were Samuel and Frankie (Spencer) Braden of Sebewa Township and he 
was a graduate of the local school and a Barber here for many years retiring in 
1947.

He married Alta Barker in 1911 at Ionia and they a had lived their entire life 
in the Lake Odessa area.

Mr.Braden was a member of Central United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Dean of Hastings and Dallas of Lake Odessa; 
four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs Bertha Richardson of 
Lansing, four brothers, Donald of LaGrange, Ill.; Dr.Spencer Braden of 
Cleveland, Ohio; Avon of Jackson and Vern of Lake George.

Funeral services were Thursday (today) at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel. 
Rev. Marvin Zimmerman officiated, with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
