Lake Odessa Wave-Times September 18, 1941

MRS. ALMIRA BRADEN PASSED AWAY WED EVE.
Resident of Lake Odessa Many Years. Leaves Son and Daughter. Funeral Saturday.

Mrs. Almira Braden, daughter of Mr and Mrs Emanuel Cramer, resident of Lake 
Odessa many years. passed away at Ionia Hospital at the age of 86 Wednesday 
night after a short illness.

She was the widow of Cyrus Braden who passed away about 15 years ago. She leaves 
two children. Mrs. Cora Colwell in Ionia and Guy Braden at Cedarville.

She was a loyal member of the Methodist church and the W.C.T.U. here and visited 
friends here when her health permitted.

She las lived with her daughter in Ionia for many years but often spent a summer 
with her son in the Upper Peninsula.

Aside from her daughter and son she leaves three granddaughters, Mrs. Margaret 
Hoar in Ionia, Mrs Charles Cook at Port Huron, and Mrs.O.K. Trower n Cheboygan, 
and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be h eld at the Wortley & Baine chapel here Saturday afternoon 
at 2:30, and burial will be at Lakeside cemetery.
