Born in Easton Township April 14, 1896, he was the son of Edwin Bradford and Anna McKindrey. He retired in 1954 from Gibson and Co. where he had been employed for 22 years. He was married to Gladys Higgins Dec. 22, 1921, in Ionia; she died July 15, 1963. Surviving are a son, Charles of Belding; two grandsons; and four great grandsons. Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the Belding American Legion post for 60 years. Funeral and committal services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Johnson Funeral Home, Belding, with the Rev. W. D. Wood officiating. Burial will be in Easton Cemetery. A memorial for the Muscular Dystrophy Association has been established in care of the funeral home. Visitors may call at the funeral home Monday and Tuesday prior to services.
