Mrs. Gladys V. Bradford, 79, 605 S. Broas St., Belding, died Friday at a local
nursing home after an extended illness.  She was born Feb. 4, 1904, near
Saranac, and for a short time she lived in the Detroit area.  She was a retired
maintenance supervisor at Belding Schools, where she served for 20 years. 

On Dec. 22, 1921, she married Brad S. Bradford in Belding.  He survives.  Also
surviving are one son: Charles E. of Belding; one sister: Mrs. Roy (Joyce)
Stewart of Greenville; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Charles M. Courser
Funeral Home in Belding with the Rev. Thomas L. Johnson of Reorganized Church of
Latter Day Saints officiating.  Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.  The family
will be at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.  A memorial
has been established for the American Cancer Society in the care of the funeral
home.
